Quality is an ongoing process, but we just reached an important milestone in our march toward it: our Logistics & Integration Center has achieved full ISO 9001:2015 certification.
If you aren’t already familiar with the ISO quality management standards, they’re an international set of benchmarks for Quality Management Systems. The certification requirements focus on subjects like alignment of employees to training and ongoing communication, completion of objectives and key performance indicators, and commitment from leadership. Businesses must be precise and thorough if they hope to meet ISO standards – and our work doing just that has finally paid off.
Now that Zones is certified, we can implement greater quality control and management processes for logistics centers located across the United States. And we can refine our processes even further, mapping the way for more ISO certifications in the future.
“The certification process for logistics and integration required high levels of data analysis, organizational discipline, and teamwork to build upon an already successful operation,” said Linda Marbena, Senior Vice President of Logistics and Integration at Zones. “Standardization enables us to focus on continual business process improvement, brings additional rigor, and aligns systems that achieve measurable objectives and exceed customer expectations across all lifecycle services.”
This news comes on the heels of our recent inclusion on the Elite 150 CRN Managed Service Providers list – another honor we’re proud to receive. And with our newly certified processes delivering more advanced solutions than ever thanks to Zones nfrastructure, the Services Company of Zones, we’re poised to continue this trend of excellence well into 2018 and beyond.
