To continue driving the transformation to cloud-enabled solutions, Zones has made significant investments in dedicated Microsoft selling and services resources. A sales organization devoted to Microsoft solutions leading with Office 365 (O365) and Azure has been formed at Zones, and is supported by technical architects and system engineers providing extended services to enhance Microsoft solution offerings. Together these teams will execute on Zones’ go-to-market strategy for Microsoft solutions, which includes solving its customers’ technology challenges through adoption and implementation of Microsoft technologies. On May 20, Zones was honored with the 2015 Microsoft Supplier Program (MSP) Excellence Award for Supplier Diversity.

Microsoft’s MSP Excellence Awards recognize superior performance, exemplary service and innovation by suppliers. Award winners were measured on excellence in a number of areas, including quality, value, service and innovation. Two industry veterans join Zones’ growing Partner and Product Marketing organization

New hires to collaborate with partner community to accelerate software solution sales and expand cloud practice

On February 16, Zones welcomed two technology industry veterans to our Partner and Product Marketing organization. Jon Allen has assumed the role of vice president of Cloud, and Todd Leeson joins the organization as vice president of Software. In their respective new roles, Allen and Leeson will help define the strategy for two key Zones target markets: cloud computing and software solutions.

Zones teams with Samsung to market KNOX mobile security platform

Zones and Samsung delivering secure solutions for the mobile enterprise workforce

On February 10, Zones announced its authorization as a Platinum Reseller of the Samsung KNOX security platform for the Samsung Galaxy line of mobile devices.

Samsung KNOX is a multi-layered security technology that provides leading device security, data and application protection technology to enable a secure and productive workspace for mobile professionals. Since its introduction in September 2013, the KNOX platform has found wide acceptance around the world.

As a Platinum Reseller, Zones is now authorized to provide the KNOX platform to organizations across a broad array of industries that rely on mobile devices in their corporate IT infrastructures.

Exelon honors Zones as its Financial Discipline and Savings Partner

Recently, Exelon Corporation presented Zones with the energy company’s Financial Discipline and Savings Partner award, during its annual supplier conference in Chicago.

Headquartered in Chicago, Exelon is one the nation’s leading energy providers, with approximately $24.9 billion in annual revenues.

National account executive Matt Camden, who leads the Exelon account, accepted the award with Executive Vice President, Enterprise Sales Tom Ducatelli. The award recognized Zones for delivering market-leading quantifiable cost savings, successful negotiation best practices with OEMs, and implementation of new cost-saving processes in addition to near flawless levels of execution in our sales and support services.
